8th Grade Spanish at Haynes Bridge Middle School

Mrs. Mathis teaches Spanish 8 and Spanish 8C at Haynes Bridge Middle School. She is the Department Chair and School Contact for the World Language Department at Haynes Bridge. This is Mrs. Mathis's fourteenth year teaching Spanish at Haynes Bridge Middle School. She has previously taught Spanish, as well as math, at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in both public school and private school. She even taught for a year at her beloved University of Georgia.
It is important to know that successful completion of these courses will result in a high school credit. A student must receive a passing final average (70 or higher) for each semester of 7th grade and each semester of 8th grade in order to receive credit. The final semester averages for 8th grade will be posted on the high school transcript.
Students and parents can use this site to find information about upcoming assignments and projects, classroom rules and procedures, useful resources, and study tips.
This site may be used as a resource for class assignments, but many other internet websites are off limits for Spanish students. At Haynes Bridge Middle School, it is our policy not to accept work that has been completed with the use of on online translator. If you have any doubts about a website you are using to complete your work, don't hesitate to ask your teacher!
